Ans.- The smallest unit from which we make numbers is called a digit.(अंक- वह सबसे छोटी ईकाई जिससे संख्याएँ बनती है। )

Ex.- 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.

●The largest digit is 9.

●There are 10 digits. 

Q- What is a number ?

Ans.- A digit or a group of digits is called a number. (अंक या अंकों के समूह को संख्या कहते हैं। )

Ex.- 2,50,333,9999,etc

Ans- To express a number in figure is called a numeral. (संख्या को अंकों में व्यक्त करना संख्यांक कहलाता है।)

Ans- To express a number in words is called a number name. (संख्या को शब्दों में व्यक्त करना संख्यानाम कहलाता है।)
